S.O.S. Events provides a list of event services that the client can select to support their gala.  By selecting just the services needed to complete a gala, the client will only utilize and pay for the selection.  The program is separated into two sections: fundraising services and gala services.

Fundraising services will be supported directly by S.O.S. Computer’s staff. These services are designed to support the data information required to process cash management.

Computer Hardware Rental/Software Services is designed to manage the registration – check in, sale of items, and checkout. The basic program consists of three work stations. Each work station consists of laptop and printer. The stations are networked together, utilizing the clients fundraising software. A technician will be on-site during the event to provide support for both hardware and software (Greater Giving and/or Tofino) .The program can be modified and adjusted to suit the client’s needs.

Auction Consulting enables the client to hire an event manager to provide technical support for their fundraiser.

Database Processing is building the data information for the event.  An S.O.S. technician will process the guests for table assignments / meal types, enter the donors with items / thank yous – value receipts for tax purposes, enter the packages – print the bid sheets as well as preparing the bid packets for the event.

Procurement is the solicitation of donations for the event.  The client decides the number of items, number of packages and the expected value.

Website Support can be done on the client auctions software.  Create a website to provide information and market the event,  provide guests online registration and/or provide the ability to bid for certain silent auction packages.

Gala service is a fee-based program designed to give clients the ability to create a gala.  These services are contracted to other professional providers.  The fee structure is defined into 3 levels:

1st Level:      The client would complete an online questionnaire. The S.O.S. Event Coordinator will then develop a proposal with a list of options and a task list for the client. A meeting would be arrange with the client to review the proposal.

2nd Level:     The S.O.S. Event Coordinator assists in the implementation of the proposal. They will schedule representatives from each group to meet and finalize the contract. The S.O.S. Event Coordinator will develop a time table for the gala.

3rd Level:     The S.O.S. Event Coordinator will implement the task list and monitor the time table.  They will manage and maintain communication with the volunteers and sub- contractors.
